A Night School Full of First-Timers, and a Chapter That Keeps Growing

Thursday evening, the back room was packed. What was supposed to be a cozy political education session turned into standing-room-only as members and curious newcomers filed in for this month's Socialist Night School, proof that people across Delaware County are hungry to understand the world and change it.

The topic was the history of tenant organizing, and the conversation was anything but a lecture. Longtime members and people attending their very first DSA event traded questions, stories, and a few hard-won lessons, and by the end it was tough to tell the veterans from the newcomers. Someone brought cookies. Someone else brought a stack of questions they'd been saving for weeks. That's exactly the point: everyone starts somewhere, and every voice in the room made the discussion sharper.
